Norton Antivirus Review
Norton is a security software developed by Norton LifeLock explicitly to protect customers from the rising attacks of viruses and malwares. The software became part of the Norton software suite in May 1991. Before Norton came into existence, Norton’s parent company, i.e., Symantec, launched its first-ever antivirus software for Macintosh (SAM). The software gained popularity with the blink of an eye, and hence after only a year, the company launched SAM 2.0. This software allowed its customers to update SAM and optimize their computers eliminating new viruses swiftly. In the mid-1991, there came an exhaustive rise where foreign virus strains were invading US devices to impose corporate PC infections. Symantec Group launched Norton Antivirus 1.0, available only for PC to secure and protect these corporate setups. Norton, since its existence, offers subscription-based antivirus security products.
